Efforts We Support
Paraclete Transport LTD. is involved in some great things in their community. Here are some of the ways Paraclete is giving back.
Over the years, Paraclete has supported STARS in as many ways as we could, including sponsoring time during the Critical Care On The Air radiothon, put on by Golden West Radio in southern Manitoba. This effort in 2019 raised over $100,000 towards keeping STARS operational in the province as well as fundraising for a new helicopter.
We’ve also been active in supporting them through the Big Dig, a farm to table supper put on by Prairie Heart Tent Rentals, an annual supper hosted just south of Portage la Prairie.
One Hope Canada is an organization devoted to seeing kids reached and saved by the grace of God through His Son, Jesus Christ’s work on the Cross. Paraclete has partnered with One Hope Canada (Formerly the Canadian Sunday School Mission) for several years by supporting their annual spring concert tour as well as other events One Hope Canada puts on throughout the year.
In the early months of 2019, for the first time, Paraclete joined forces with ROK for their annual 50/50 for Kids. Paraclete hosted a day where community members were encouraged to buy tickets at the office or other partner locations. In total, the 50/50 raised over $20,000 and Paraclete was proud to support the organization in this way.
Paraclete Transport has been a supporter of Youth For Christ in Portage la Prairie over the last several years, including donating to the Portage chapter’s annual Hockey Clash.
Paraclete Transport, in support of breast cancer awareness, decked out a trailer in all pink, hoping to draw attention to the subject, and hoping to inspire those able to, to donate to organizations working towards a cure.
